Meeting Aesclepius Unit 7
Meeting Aesclepius was an interesting exercise. I had a really hard time focusing on someone I had someone in mind and it was fairly easy seeing this person but focusing on them was hard. I was not real successful with this exercise this time but I will keep trying to focus on this person a little at a time. I have really seen great results from the exercises and look forward to teaching others this mindful practice. It has taught me that it is important to train our minds to increase health wellness. I will continue studying these exercises and I am looking for a mentor in my area to continue learning more exercises.
"One cannot lead another where one has not gone himself"
As teachers in this practice we must be able to foster the know how in Integral Health to help anyone else learn and totally understand its benefits. We ourselves have to be proficient in the exercises to show others how well it works.

Stacia, I absolutely love the quote you posted on your blog! We always need to keep learning, I couldn't agree more. Best of luck with your continued meditation process.

Hi Stacia,
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you that this was a difficult exercise, possibly the most difficult of this class so far. While it was a little easier for me to clearly visualize the individual I selected for this exercise, my failure was when I tried to become the person I choose. I had no chance of accomplishing this at this time but I will with practice and I’m sure you will as well. Now that I think about it I don’t really think that I selected the individual for this exercise, as I listened to the directions of the narrator I genuinely think the person simply came to me. Thanks for the interesting blog.

Hello great post. For me this week exercise was easier than other weeks because I was able to focus and concentrate more. It was great to understand that as future professional is important to learn how to follow in order to lead. If the rest of the people around us can appreciate a integral change they will want to accomplish the same change and we are going to be able to help them better. Thank you and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI found this exercise a little harder than some of the others but I am going to keep trying to perfect it because I feel that I have come a long way with the way that I handle things since practicing these meditations and exercises. It has been nice to be able to clear my mind and ease my spirit.
