Thinking Back Unit 8

This course has been so interesting and I have learned so much about why I am the way I am, including things I never knew. Each class has brought us into new exercises that were sometimes difficult but most were very helpful. Each one has begun to be a part of my life but I think the Subtle Mind is the one I connect with the most. The meditation exercises are the beginning of something great for me I have done well on my own and using the exercises in the book. I am learning to feel differently about people I once cared little for because of past problems. Visualizing the changes and feeling the change in my heart is key to my success in this course I will practice, practice and practice. So far I have gone from once a week for each exercise, to two times a week for each. I will continue to practice a little more each week until it is a normal part of life. I will continue understanding myself and loving myself for my future career to blossom into something great. Taking time to close your eyes and think of how great you should feel and feel that in your soul is a great feeling. “I am truly, loving this experience.” Stacia

  1. This class has been a God sent for me in my time in my life, but as we should all know, God has his perfect timing for everything in our life and he knows best. I have truly enjoyed these last 8 weeks and some exercises have been easy and some have been hard but non the less they have made an impact in my life that I am eternally grateful for.

  2. Stacia,

This course has been very interesting. We are stopping to take the time to clean out our minds. We are all so busy we forget to allow our minds to stop. This class has made us stop and meditate for our assignments. This bringing us to a place that we should be for our health and peace of mind. we should stop and remove the clutter from our minds daily.

  3. Hello Stacia,

I agree that this course has been interesting and helpful as well. It has made me realize that I need to take time for myself and clear my mind. I have so much going on right now that I think my thoughts are overwhelming me. Like you I am incorporating some of the exercises into my routine, it is hard but I find I like how I feel afterwards. Practice makes perfect I like to say! lol

  4. I agree Stacia,

Everything in this class has been so helpful for me as well. Learning through meditation and quiet time to calm my thoughts are the most enrich experience, now I can tell that in my actions and in my everyday life I am able to acknowledge all the negative stuff that was holding me back. Visualization is one of my favorite practices. It is amazing to see how much power our mind has to transform everything. It is important to picture ourselves they way that we always want to be and walk forward to reach that change. I know, I need a lot of practice but I am in a good path, the most important thing is to have the drive to do it. I love your improvement it is so nice to see that this class is also making a difference in your life as well. Great post. =)

  5. Stacia, being in this class has helped me to expand my meditation exercises and has enabled me add more variety to my life. Before this class I would pretty much use the same meditation exercise over and over again and it was getting to the point where sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Now with the different exercises that we have been introduced to through this class I can pick and choose the right one for me at the right time to be much more effective. Like you I have benefited from this class.

  6. I also found the Subtle Mind exercise to be very beneficial! Focusing on your breath is a great way to calm the mind and focus your inner-self. I have found that focusing on my breath in moments of stress or anxiety has brought me back down to remember what is really important and helped me through this term. I have found meditation to be a life saver over the last couple of years and find it to be a great tool for personal development
